My Ministry is something I have deeply reflected upon and sought spiritual guidance for. It
has been shaped by a variety of influences, particularly my studies of different faith paths,
spiritual counselling, ceremonial work, and the support and insights of my tutors and peers in
the Cedar class during my One Spirit Journey. My life experiences have further contributed
to its development, including my role as a single parent of three daughters, my work across
various sectors, and my commitment to supporting people from all walks of life.
This includes working with individuals of all ages, cultural backgrounds, sexualities, and abilities,
and providing care through supportive agencies such as the Metropolitan Police, Social
Services (Child Protection), and NSPCC (Complex Abuse Investigation Team). I am
currently serving voluntarily as an interfaith chaplain for South Wales Police, a role I hold as
a direct result of my One Spirit Interfaith Training.

The combination of my past work, the diverse range of people I’ve served, and my One Spirit
Journey has provided me with a strong foundation for my current role as an interfaith
chaplain, for South Wales Police. I support officers from various faith backgrounds, or none,
while serving all faith communities and those who do not adhere to a specific belief.
My intention is to serve to the best of my abilities, allowing the Love of God/Divine to guide
my Ministry. I aim to serve in a way that reflects openness and heartfelt joy, embracing the
deep richness of all paths and recognizing that love is the guiding principle at the core of each
one.
Being a chaplain for South Wales Police fills my heart with joy and is meeting all of my
ministerial expectations. I feel blessed also to be able to provide a Chaplain service to the
Police Dogs and Police Horses who are themselves very much held in high regard and form
part of the police family.

Whilst I feel fulfilled in my current role I do hope to expand my Ministry through ceremonial
work, ensuring that the ceremonies I create to honour the unique contributions of every
individual, couple, or group involved. I understand the deep responsibility and active
listening required for such work as an Interfaith Minister.
Rituals help us mark, celebrate, and acknowledge significant moments in our lives, and I
believe each person deserves to express these events in their own unique way. The ceremony-
writing process is an honour and a privilege that requires me, as a minister, to demonstrate
compassion, love, understanding, and sensitivity, and to treat all people with dignity and
respect.
I am committed to continuously deepening my spiritual practice so that the service I offer
remains grounded in the integrity of an authentic and evolving spiritual life, influenced by the
divine and enveloped in a field of love.
My Interfaith Ministry journey will continue to evolve, shaped by many factors—nature,
people, world events, the changing spiritual needs of our times, and the presence of the
divine. While the path may shift, my commitment to celebrating life in its many forms,
supporting spiritual awakening, and exploring life’s deeper meanings remains steadfast. I will
always be present for others, holding space with love, championing wholeness, and
witnessing without judgment.
My practice will always align with the One Spirit code of ethics.
